Feeding Directions

Growing horses on grass hay and pasture should remain on Pace-Maker 160 through 2 years of age. Feeding rates for foals with an expected mature weight of about 1100 pounds should be about 1 pound of feed per 100 pounds of body weight up to six months of age. After six months of age, feed the amount that will maintain an appropriate growth rate and body condition. Pace-Maker 160 is also appropriate for lactating mares when mares and foals are fed together. Adjust feed for broodmares according to body condition. Refer to the Pace-Maker Feeding Guide for additional guidelines.
