Feeding Directions

Sufficient forage intake may be difficult as the horse ages, so this feed includes a portion of the dietary fiber requirement. Typical feeding levels would be from 0.5 to 2.0 lbs. of Pace-Maker Old Timers Blend per 100 lbs. body weight. The higher feeding rates would be needed for horses with severe dental difficulties. When fed as the primary forage source, it is desirable to include 0.5% of body weight in long stem forage (i.e. pieces that are at least 1.5 inches in length).
